EcosHaz project is an initiative funded by Directorate General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection of the European Union.

It aims to establish a sustainable knowledge framework addressing the costs and benefits of prevention and response to coastal hazards resulting from hydro-meteorological events (flooding, shoreline erosion, storm surges, and sea level rise) and oil spill accidents.

The project is realized by a consortium of six partners from Greece, Spain, UK, Poland and Italy, and has duration of 24 months starting from the 1st of January 2015
